Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Officer to join our expanding team in Ampah, Kalimantan. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for both existing and new customers, promoting our product portfolio, securing orders, and ensuring a seamless credit application process.
Responsibilities
The Sales Officer will be responsible for a wide range of activities that drive revenue and strengthen customer loyalty. Core duties include:
- Proactively offering the company’s products to existing clients and prospecting new customers across the assigned territory.
- Generating sales orders through the channel distribution network, capturing initial data, and verifying the completeness of customer documentation.
- Preparing and submitting credit applications, coordinating with the finance department, and tracking the status of each application.
- Communicating credit decisions promptly to dealers and customers, and providing clear guidance on payment schedules, due dates, and collection locations.
- Maintaining a detailed sales pipeline, updating CRM systems daily, and preparing weekly progress reports for management.
- Collaborating with logistics and after‑sales teams to ensure timely delivery and post‑sale support.
- Conducting market research to identify emerging opportunities, competitive pricing, and customer preferences.
- Participating in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and product knowledge workshops to stay current on industry trends.
Requirements
To thrive in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the listed soft skills:
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 degree in any field; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Age: Up to 30 years old, though no strict upper limit is enforced.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar sales or distribution role is advantageous, but not mandatory.
- Gender: Male (as per current company policy).
- Key competencies:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- High level of integrity, honesty, and attention to detail.
- Resilience and perseverance in meeting sales targets.
- Excellent organizational abilities for handling documentation and credit applications.
- Proficiency in basic sales management tools and CRM software.
- Must own a personal vehicle and hold a valid SIM A/C driving licence.
- Willingness to be placed according to domicile within the Kalimantan region.
- Work schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00.
