Introduction

We are seeking an energetic and results‑driven Sales Representative – Cigarette Market (Wilayah Sukabumi) to join our fast‑growing FMCG distribution team. This role focuses on promoting and selling tobacco products across a defined territory in Sukabumi, ensuring optimal brand visibility, strong retailer relationships, and achievement of sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Install, arrange, and maintain promotional materials (posters, signage, wobblers, POP displays) at assigned outlets.
  • Execute daily sales calls to retailers, present product benefits, negotiate shelf space, and close sales to meet or exceed monthly quotas.
  • Monitor inventory levels at each outlet, replenish stock as needed, and report any gaps to the supply chain team.
  • Conduct regular outlet visits to verify that promotional activities are executed according to brand guidelines and that product placement complies with legal regulations.
  • Gather market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing trends, and consumer preferences, and relay insights to the regional sales manager.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, promotional spend, and outlet feedback using the company’s CRM system.
  • Provide on‑site training to retail staff on product knowledge, merchandising standards, and responsible sales practices.
  • Coordinate with logistics to schedule deliveries, ensuring timely product availability across the territory.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3 preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a promoter, merchandiser, or sales representative in the FMCG sector; tobacco‑specific experience is a strong advantage.
  • Male candidates only (as per client specification).
  • Valid SIM C driver’s license and personal motorbike for field mobility.
  • Willingness to be stationed in the Sukabumi area and travel extensively within the assigned zone.
  • Proficient in using communication tools, negotiation techniques, and basic sales analysis methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to set up POP materials, understand visual merchandising principles, and maintain a clean, attractive retail environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, self‑motivation, and the ability to work independently while aligning with team objectives.
