Introduction
We are looking for a motivated Food & Beverage Product Specialist to join our dynamic team at Arya Villas Ubud. The role provides hands‑on experience in a boutique luxury setting, allowing you to develop practical skills while contributing to the daily operations of our food and beverage department.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Food & Beverage manager in developing and updating product menus, ensuring that offerings meet brand standards and guest expectations.
- Conduct market research on emerging food and beverage trends, and present recommendations for new product introductions.
- Support inventory control by monitoring stock levels, preparing purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers to guarantee timely deliveries.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to test recipes, evaluate taste profiles, and adjust presentations for consistency and quality.
- Participate in daily briefings and service runs, helping to set up stations, arrange displays, and ensure that all service areas are clean and well‑stocked.
- Gather guest feedback on food and beverage items, analyze data, and help formulate improvement plans.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, conducting regular spot checks and reporting any discrepancies.
- Assist in organizing promotional events, tastings, and special themed nights to enhance the guest experience.
- Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling product descriptions for digital and print materials.
- Provide support in training junior staff on product knowledge, service standards, and upselling techniques.
Requirements
- Active university student or fresh graduate from a relevant field such as Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Food Science, or Culinary Arts.
- Strong interest in the hospitality and hotel industry, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Excellent communication skills; proficiency in English is a distinct advantage.
- Professional appearance and demeanor, reflecting the high standards of Arya Villas.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Highly disciplined, responsible, and proactive with a strong sense of initiative.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage management concepts, including inventory control and product costing.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
