Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Teknisi Perawatan dan Instalasi Peralatan Industri to join our dynamic production team in Rembang, Jawa Tengah. This role is critical to maintaining the reliability of our manufacturing lines, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring that all equipment operates safely and efficiently in accordance with industry regulations such as GMP and K3.
The successful candidate will work in a shift‑based environment, collaborate closely with engineers and production supervisors, and play an active part in the installation of new machinery and the optimisation of existing processes.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance activities on production machinery, using vibration analysis, thermography, and condition‑monitoring tools.
- Rapidly diagnose equipment failures, troubleshoot root causes, and execute corrective repairs to minimise downtime.
- Adjust machine settings and re‑calibrate controls when product specifications or process parameters change, ensuring consistent quality output.
- Lead the installation, commissioning, and performance testing of new equipment, coordinating with vendors and internal engineering teams.
- Guarantee that all repair work complies with K3 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards and food‑safety requirements, documenting compliance evidence where required.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date maintenance logs, including work orders, parts used, and time spent, to support audit trails and continuous‑improvement reporting.
- Participate in cross‑functional safety and GMP audits, providing technical input and corrective action recommendations.
- Support training initiatives by sharing knowledge on equipment operation, maintenance best practices, and safety protocols with junior staff.
- Monitor and interpret data from temperature, pressure, and flow sensors, ensuring that instrumentation remains within calibrated tolerances.
- Collaborate with the production planning team to schedule maintenance windows that align with production targets and minimise impact on output.
Requirements
- Male candidates, maximum age of 30 years.
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in industrial equipment maintenance, preferably in a food‑processing or similar regulated environment.
- Solid understanding of GMP fundamentals and food‑safety standards; experience with HACCP is a plus.
- Proficiency with basic instrumentation (temperature sensors, pressure transducers, timers, etc.) and the ability to interpret diagnostic data.
- Strong knowledge of K3 safety practices and the ability to apply them consistently.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving skills, high discipline, honesty, and effective communication abilities.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends as required by production schedules.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally to satellite facilities for support.
