Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accounting Analyst – Financial Reporting & Compliance to join our dynamic finance team in Bali, Indonesia. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Head of Accounting and senior leadership to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with the Head of Accounting and company executives.
- Conduct thorough reviews of daily and monthly financial transactions, ensuring proper classification, posting, and reconciliation.
- Oversee the full payment cycle, including verification of invoices, payment authorizations, and vendor statements.
- Enter, validate, and analyze all financial data in the ERP system, guaranteeing data integrity and audit readiness.
- Prepare periodic management reports, variance analyses, and financial dashboards to support strategic decision‑making.
- Develop and maintain financial planning models, forecasting cash flow, profit‑and‑loss, and balance‑sheet scenarios.
- Assist in internal and external audit processes, providing required documentation and addressing auditor inquiries promptly.
- Monitor compliance with local accounting standards (PSAK) and international reporting frameworks (IFRS), updating policies as regulations evolve.
- Mentor junior accounting staff, reviewing their work, offering constructive feedback, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—such as Procurement, Sales, and Operations—to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve financial controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to financial reporting and compliance.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience using accounting software or ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret profit‑and‑loss statements, balance sheets, and cash‑flow reports.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and honesty; ability to accept and apply constructive feedback.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Must reside in Bali, Indonesia, and be legally eligible to work in the region.
