Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them to the kitchen and bar staff, and ensure timely delivery to the table.
- Provide detailed menu knowledge, including ingredients, allergens, and daily specials, to help guests make informed choices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables, polishing silverware, and ensuring a tidy ambiance.
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve minor issues on the spot, and coordinate with management for any escalated concerns.
- Process payments efficiently using POS systems, issue receipts, and manage cash handling procedures with accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bar team, and fellow servers to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards, including proper food handling and sanitation protocols.
- Participate in regular training sessions, team briefings, and shift handovers to stay updated on menu changes and service standards.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Requirements
- Age: 18‑30 years (both male and female candidates are welcome).
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK equivalent; a D3/D4 degree is a plus.
- Prior experience as a crew member in a restaurant or café environment is preferred, though fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills, honesty, responsibility, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, shift‑based schedule (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, including table setting and order taking.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and drinks.
