Introduction

BRI Life, a leading life insurance provider in Indonesia, is expanding its Bancassurance network across the Sumatra Utara region. We are looking for a motivated Financial Advisor – Bancassurance to join our dynamic sales team. The role involves promoting BRI Life’s comprehensive suite of insurance products to individual and corporate clients, building lasting relationships, and driving revenue growth while adhering to regulatory and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain, maintain, and renew all required agency licenses and certifications in accordance with Indonesian insurance law and the directives of the supervising authorities.
  • Market, present, and close sales of BRI Life insurance products, ensuring that each solution aligns with the client’s financial goals and risk profile.
  • Comply with all applicable legislation, the Indonesian Life Insurance Association (AAJI) code of ethics, and BRI Life’s internal policies, both written and verbal.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales productivity targets, contributing to regional revenue objectives.
  • Uphold the highest standards of business ethics and agency conduct, reflecting the professional image of BRI Life.
  • Issue policy documents to policyholders, securely archive receipt acknowledgments, and manage all related sales documentation.
  • Provide clear, accurate, and transparent information to prospective and existing policyholders about product features, benefits, and obligations.
  • Conduct thorough underwriting reviews, verify applicant data, and personally witness the signing of insurance applications.
  • Assist the company in profiling prospective policyholders to ensure product suitability and regulatory compliance.
  • Promote a collaborative work environment by participating in team meetings, sharing best practices, and maintaining workplace harmony.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in insurance sales, bancassurance, or a related financial services role.
  • Valid agency license and registration as required by Indonesian law.
  • Strong knowledge of BRI Life’s product portfolio and the ability to explain complex insurance concepts in simple terms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust with diverse client segments.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and a commitment to comply with all regulatory and company policies.
  • Self‑motivated with a results‑driven mindset; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office) and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Open to working Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional weekend events or client meetings.
