Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and results‑driven Sales Akuisisi Merchant EDC to join our expanding team covering the Kabupaten Halmahera Utara area. This role focuses on acquiring new small‑and‑medium enterprises (UMKM) as partners for our electronic data capture (EDC) machines, enabling merchants to accept digital payments and grow their businesses. The successful candidate will be the frontline ambassador of our payment solutions, responsible for building relationships, meeting daily acquisition targets, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct door‑to‑door canvassing and cold‑calling to identify potential UMKM clients interested in EDC solutions.
- Achieve a daily target of 2‑3 new EDC unit acquisitions by presenting product benefits and addressing merchant concerns.
- Perform product demonstrations on‑site, highlighting features such as fast transaction processing, secure data handling, and low transaction fees.
- Gather and verify merchant information, ensuring accurate data entry into the CRM system for follow‑up and reporting.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to schedule delivery and installation of EDC devices, ensuring a smooth hand‑over.
- Maintain regular follow‑up with newly onboarded merchants to secure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities (e.g., value‑added services, additional devices).
- Report daily activity, sales figures, and market feedback to the regional sales manager.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes affecting digital payments in Indonesia.
- Participate in weekly sales training sessions to continuously improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a sales or field‑marketing role, preferably in financial services or technology.
- Possession of a valid SIM C and personal two‑wheel vehicle for daily travel across the district.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly with diverse merchants.
- Self‑motivated with a results‑oriented mindset; comfortable working independently and managing a personal sales pipeline.
- Basic analytical abilities to interpret sales data and adjust strategies accordingly.
