Introduction
We are a dedicated tutoring center located in Jenggawah, specializing in intensive preparation for Indonesia’s national university entrance exam (UTBK) via the SNBT pathway. Our mission is to empower recent high school graduates, especially females, with the knowledge, confidence, and strategies needed to succeed in this highly competitive test. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Tutor for UTBK SNBT Preparation to join our team on a full‑time basis.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons that cover the core subjects of the UTBK SNBT, including Bahasa Indonesia, Mathematics, and Natural Sciences.
- Develop individualized study plans for each student, taking into account their strengths, weaknesses, and target university programs.
- Conduct regular diagnostic assessments, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to students and their parents.
- Facilitate interactive classroom activities, practice tests, and review sessions to reinforce learning and improve test‑taking stamina.
- Maintain a supportive and patient learning environment, encouraging perseverance and confidence among learners.
- Coordinate with the scheduling team to manage class times—currently Monday & Wednesday at 08:30 and Friday at 15:00—for a 90‑minute session each.
- Stay updated on the latest UTBK formats, question styles, and scoring algorithms to ensure teaching content remains current.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings, share best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the tutoring program.
- Provide occasional one‑on‑one tutoring or mentorship for students needing extra assistance.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Psychology, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or a related field. Current university students in their final year are also encouraged to apply.
- Must be female (per client specifications) and comfortable working with female high‑school graduates.
- First‑hand experience taking and passing the UTBK SNBT pathway.
- Demonstrated teaching or tutoring experience is a strong plus, though enthusiastic beginners with a solid academic record will be considered.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: friendly, approachable, and committed to student success.
- Patience, meticulousness, and the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
- Resides near Jenggawah or is willing to commute daily.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage lesson plans, attendance records, and assessment data.
- Proficiency in Indonesian language; additional English proficiency is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours within the Monday‑Saturday schedule, 08:00‑17:00.
