Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer – Facility Protection and Risk Management to join our team in Tegal and its surrounding areas. This role is critical in safeguarding our facilities, personnel, and assets while ensuring a safe and secure environment for all stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other security incidents.
- Conduct regular security inspections, identify potential vulnerabilities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate incident reports, daily logs, and documentation of all security activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Control access points, verify identification, and manage visitor logs in accordance with company policies.
- Implement and enforce security protocols, including the use of surveillance equipment, metal detectors, and access control systems.
- Participate in routine drills and training sessions to stay current on emergency response procedures and first‑aid techniques.
- Provide clear and courteous communication with employees, contractors, and visitors, delivering safety briefings as needed.
- Assist in the development and periodic review of the facility’s risk management plan.
- Collaborate with the facilities management team to ensure that physical security measures align with operational needs.
Requirements
- Gender: Male (pria).
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK or equivalent).
- Residence: Must reside in Tegal or nearby districts.
- Preferred qualifications: Gada Pratama certification and an active KTA (Kartu Tanda Anggota) membership.
- Age: Maximum 35 years old.
- Physical condition: Healthy, proportionate body and weight suitable for the duties of a security officer.
- Experience: At least 1 year of relevant security or safety experience.
- Skills: Strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00.
