Introduction
The position of Penanggung Jawab Apoteker – Cendarawaseh is a senior pharmacy leadership role within a reputable hospital setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all pharmacy operations, ensuring the highest standards of medication safety, regulatory compliance, and patient care. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the hospital pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support personnel.
- Maintain and enforce compliance with national pharmacy regulations, including the management of STRA (Surat Tanda Registrasi Apoteker) and the issuance of SIP (Surat Izin Praktik) for APJ and Aping.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for medication dispensing, compounding, and storage to ensure patient safety.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical departments to optimize medication therapy management and support multidisciplinary care teams.
- Oversee inventory control, procurement, and budgeting for pharmaceutical supplies, reducing waste and ensuring cost‑effective operations.
- Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and quality improvement initiatives to continuously elevate pharmacy performance.
- Provide mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities for pharmacy staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Prepare and present pharmacy performance reports to hospital leadership, highlighting key metrics such as drug utilization, adverse events, and patient satisfaction.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting for regulatory inspections and accreditation processes.
- Participate in hospital emergency response planning, including medication management during crises or disaster situations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Pharmacy (Farmasi Rumah Sakit).
- At least 3 years of active STRA registration and a minimum of 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience in a hospital pharmacy.
- Demonstrated ability to obtain and manage SIP APJ and Aping authorizations.
- Must not be concurrently employed in the pharmaceutical industry, distribution, or marketing sectors.
- Strong ethical standards: honesty, integrity, and discipline are essential.
- Excellent communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety.
- Flexibility to work a 24‑hour schedule, Monday through Monday, as required by hospital operations.
