Introduction
PT Prima Finance Solutions, a leading provider of financial services in East Kalimantan, is seeking a dynamic and detail‑oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Accounting Staff – Financial Reporting & Compliance. Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indonesian GAAP and company policies.
- Conduct bank reconciliations, ensuring all cash movements are accurately recorded and discrepancies are investigated promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings, including VAT, corporate income tax, and other statutory obligations.
- Maintain the general ledger, posting journal entries, and verifying the completeness of supporting documentation.
- Support the senior finance manager in budget monitoring, variance analysis, and cost‑control initiatives.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audit cycles, providing necessary schedules, work papers, and explanations.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures for accounting processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, creating pivot tables, basic formulas, and charts to visualize financial trends.
- Collaborate with the sales and procurement departments to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and expense recording.
- Participate in internal training sessions and stay up‑to‑date with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a strong advantage.
- Age limit: 30 years old or younger.
- Gender: Female candidates are preferred as per the current posting.
- At least 1 year of experience in accounting, finance, or related administrative roles. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, financial transaction recording, and simple bank reconciliation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, formatting, and data sorting) and Microsoft Word.
- Strong attention to detail, organized work habits, and a high sense of responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Balikpapan.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
