Introduction
SPX Express, a leading logistics provider in Indonesia, is seeking a dedicated Shift Lead to join our dynamic team in Mutiara Timur, Kabupaten Pidie, Aceh. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless coordination of parcel pickup, delivery, and warehousing activities across our regional hub. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, manage a team of couriers, and act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders during their shift.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain detailed schedules for courier pickup and delivery activities, ensuring optimal route efficiency and adherence to service level agreements.
- Monitor real‑time shipment progress, promptly addressing delays, exceptions, or customer inquiries to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Define and adjust delivery zones based on volume trends, traffic patterns, and geographic considerations to balance workload among couriers.
- Oversee inbound and outbound processes, coordinating with third‑party logistics (3PL) partners to guarantee accurate receiving, inventory updates, and outbound dispatches.
- Supervise sorting operations, verifying that packages are correctly classified and routed for final distribution.
- Generate daily and weekly performance reports, highlighting key metrics such as on‑time delivery rates, pick‑up success, and zone utilization.
- Train and mentor junior staff on standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and the use of logistics software tools.
- Collaborate with the regional Operations Manager to implement continuous improvement initiatives, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local labor regulations, company policies, and health & safety standards throughout the shift.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related discipline, with a proven track record of managing courier or warehouse operations.
- Strong understanding of planning, shipping, and warehousing processes, including familiarity with 3PL coordination.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of leading a diverse team and liaising with customers, vendors, and internal departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics management software for scheduling and reporting.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends, with a schedule of Monday‑Saturday, 09:30 – 18:30.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Mutiara Timur, Kabupaten Pidie, Aceh.
