Introduction
SPX Express, a leading player in Indonesia’s fast‑growing logistics and courier industry, is seeking an experienced Kepala Hub to lead its operations in Dua Pitue, Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang, Sulawesi Selatan. This pivotal role will oversee the end‑to‑end flow of parcels, ensuring timely deliveries from the moment a shipment is picked up until it reaches the final customer. The successful candidate will act as the central point of coordination between the warehouse team, line haul partners, and third‑party logistics (3PL) providers, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement within the hub.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and guarantee on‑time delivery of parcels, overseeing the full lifecycle from pick‑up to customer hand‑over.
- Coordinate daily activities with the Warehouse, Line Haul, and 3PL teams to align schedules, capacity, and routing plans.
- Implement risk‑mitigation strategies to reduce lost or damaged packages, including regular audits and process checks.
- Track and reconcile all hub transactions, ensuring data accuracy for inbound and outbound movements.
- Supervise inbound and outbound workflows, optimizing dock utilization, loading sequences, and unloading procedures.
- Lead, train, and develop hub staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.
- Analyze logistics data using Microsoft Excel to identify bottlenecks, forecast volume trends, and propose efficiency gains.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for senior management, highlighting key metrics such as on‑time delivery rate, damage rate, and capacity utilization.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and health‑safety standards throughout hub operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean methodologies, to streamline processes and reduce operational costs.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or coordination experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Proven experience in both Last Mile and First Mile logistics environments.
- Strong understanding of planning, shipping, and warehousing processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 09:30 – 18:30, and adapt to occasional overtime during peak periods.
- Willingness to reside in or relocate to Dua Pitue, Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang, Sulawesi Selatan.
