Introduction
PT. PrimaLogistik Indonesia, a leading provider of supply‑chain solutions for the FMCG and pharmaceutical sectors, is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Warehouse Logistics and Distribution Officer (Penata Gudang Logistik dan Distribusi). This full‑time position plays a critical role in ensuring that inbound and outbound goods flow smoothly through our modern distribution centre, supporting our customers’ demand‑fulfillment targets and maintaining the highest standards of product integrity.
Our warehouse operates six days a week (Monday‑Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00, and we are looking for a candidate who can thrive in a fast‑paced environment, uphold strict SOPs, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verify physical condition, and cross‑check each item against the accompanying delivery documents (packing list, invoice, and purchase order).
- Organise and store goods according to designated block areas, following the company’s layout plan and industry‑standard storage practices (e.g., FIFO, temperature zones).
- Prepare outbound orders by picking the correct SKU, quantity, batch number and expiry date (ED), and package them for dispatch while adhering to pick‑to‑order accuracy targets.
- Inspect returned merchandise, assess its resale viability, and process it for re‑stock, quarantine, or disposition according to quality‑control guidelines.
- Enter and maintain data on the Stelling Card (stock card) with discipline and 100 % accuracy, ensuring real‑time visibility of inventory levels.
- Conduct daily, weekly and monthly cycle counts, reconcile variances, and initiate corrective actions to prevent stock discrepancies.
- Monitor product shelf‑life, flagging approaching expiry dates and identifying “bad stock” for timely clearance or donation.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment, complying with occupational health & safety regulations and internal security protocols.
- Collaborate with the procurement, sales, and quality‑assurance teams to resolve issues such as shortages, over‑stock, or damaged goods.
- Support continuous‑improvement projects, suggesting layout changes, process automation, or technology adoption that can boost efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a warehouse setting; experience in pharmaceutical or FMCG warehouses is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with a high degree of discipline, precision, and accountability.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and move moderate loads repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel); familiarity with CDOB/CDAKB standards is a distinct advantage.
- Problem‑solving orientation, capable of identifying root causes of inventory variances and proposing practical solutions.
- Adaptability to work under tight deadlines, meet daily pick‑to‑order targets, and handle unexpected surges in order volume.
- All genders are welcome to apply; the role does not have an upper age limit.
Benefits
- Competitive salary package with performance‑based incentives.
- Comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision) for employee and eligible dependents.
- Paid annual leave, sick leave, and public holidays in accordance with Indonesian labour law.
- Professional development budget for certifications, training courses, and industry conferences.
- Transportation allowance or company‑provided shuttle service for the warehouse site.
- Uniform and personal protective equipment supplied by the company.
- Opportunities for career progression into senior logistics, inventory‑control, or warehouse‑management positions.
- Employee recognition programs that celebrate safety milestones and accuracy achievements.
