Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of espresso‑based drinks, pour‑overs, cold brews, and seasonal specialties according to our proprietary recipes.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment—including espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices—ensuring optimal performance and daily cleaning.
- Engage with customers, recommend menu items, and tailor drink suggestions based on individual preferences and dietary requirements.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and consumables; place orders and conduct regular stock checks to avoid shortages.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols, conducting thorough cleaning of workstations, equipment, and the front‑of‑house area.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new beverage concepts, seasonal promotions, and tasting events that enhance the shop’s brand.
- Handle point‑of‑sale transactions accurately, maintain cash drawer integrity, and generate daily sales reports.
- Provide training and mentorship to new hires, sharing best practices for latte art, drink preparation, and customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 30 years old or younger.
- Gender: Female (preference based on shop uniform policy).
- Prior barista experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for coffee culture is essential.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with flexibility for occasional weekend events.
- Excellent teamwork, time‑management, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Passion for learning about coffee origins, roasting profiles, and brewing techniques.
