We are seeking a dedicated Cashier – Retail Sales to join our vibrant team in the bustling Gading Serpong area. Responsibilities
- Process cash, credit, and digital transactions accurately and efficiently using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area, ensuring that all merchandise, promotional displays, and signage are tidy and well‑stocked.
- Greet customers warmly, answer product‑related inquiries, and provide recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policy while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, prepare cash deposits, and report any discrepancies to the store manager promptly.
- Assist with inventory counts, shelf replenishment, and stock rotation to prevent shrinkage.
- Collaborate with team members from the food‑and‑beverage (F&B) department when cross‑selling items or managing combined orders.
- Adhere to health, safety, and security protocols, including proper cash handling and fraud prevention measures.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new POS features, product knowledge, and customer service best practices.
- Provide feedback to management on recurring customer concerns or opportunities for process improvement.
Requirements
- Maximum age: 27 years.
- Minimum education: SMA / SMK or equivalent.
- Strong verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
- Demonstrated honesty, discipline, and a high level of accountability.
- Prior experience in the F&B sector is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to work in Gading Serpong and adapt to a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Proficiency with cash register systems and basic computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office, POS software).
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime during peak periods.
