We are seeking a passionate and professional Barista to join our vibrant coffee house team. As a Barista Penyaji Minuman Kopi Profesional, you will be the face of our brand, delivering exceptional coffee experiences to a diverse clientele. This role demands a blend of technical coffee‑making expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, pour‑over, and specialty drinks, adhering to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other coffee equipment safely and efficiently, performing routine cleaning and maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting work station, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, providing recommendations, answering questions about coffee origins, roasting profiles, and brewing methods.
  • Handle cash transactions, process orders through POS systems, and reconcile daily sales reports accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members to manage peak‑hour traffic, ensuring prompt service without compromising product quality.
  • Assist in inventory control by monitoring stock levels of beans, milk, syrups, and supplies, and notifying management of reorder needs.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with emerging coffee trends, new brewing techniques, and seasonal menu updates.
  • Contribute ideas for menu innovation, promotional events, and community outreach initiatives that enhance brand visibility.
  • Demonstrate reliability by adhering to scheduled work hours (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00) and maintaining punctuality.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • At least 1‑2 years of proven experience as a barista in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of coffee beans, roasting levels, grind sizes, and brewing variables.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to connect with customers from all backgrounds.
  • Honest, responsible, and detail‑oriented with a commitment to delivering consistent quality.
  • Team‑player who can also work independently; adept at multitasking under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and handle high‑volume periods with composure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., coffee bean bags).
