Introduction
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef Professional to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate a wide variety of dishes according to the restaurant’s menu and seasonal offerings.
- Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring that all food preparation follows established recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Manage inventory of raw materials, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers to guarantee fresh and timely deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to food safety regulations and sanitation protocols.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, mixers, and slicers, performing routine checks and basic troubleshooting.
- Demonstrate strong multitasking abilities by handling multiple orders simultaneously during peak service periods.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and management team to develop new menu items, refine existing recipes, and incorporate customer feedback.
- Ensure that all dishes are delivered on time, with consistent quality, taste, and visual appeal.
- Assist in cost control by minimizing waste, optimizing portion sizes, and contributing to budgeting discussions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA) or Vocational School (SMK) with a focus on culinary arts, hospitality, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a fast‑paced kitchen, preferably as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
- Proven proficiency in cooking techniques, food preparation, and the operation of various kitchen tools and appliances.
- Strong ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent multitasking and time‑management skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
