Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site visits to customers for debt collection, adhering to a pre‑established schedule and geographic area.
- Initiate and manage payment collection conversations, employing effective communication and negotiation techniques to secure timely payments.
- Collect physical payments from customers, ensuring accurate handling of cash, checks, or electronic transfer confirmations.
- Prepare detailed daily and weekly visit reports, documenting interaction outcomes, payment amounts, and any follow‑up actions required.
- Monitor and achieve assigned collection targets, contributing to the overall financial performance of the branch.
- Identify and report potential high‑risk accounts, providing insights that help the credit control team adjust strategies.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of local regulations, company policies, and ethical standards related to debt collection.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Finance, Customer Service, and Legal to resolve disputes and clarify payment terms.
- Utilize mapping and route‑optimization tools to maximize efficiency while covering the assigned territory.
- Provide exceptional customer service, preserving the company’s reputation while pursuing outstanding balances.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in collection or a related field; 2 years preferred.
- Possession of a valid motorcycle (Roda Dua) and an active SIM C driver’s license.
- Thorough familiarity with the Tegal area, including key neighborhoods and commercial districts.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet strict deadlines.
- Basic proficiency with mobile data entry tools and reporting software.
