Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Maintenance – Penanggung Jawab Pemeliharaan Fasilitas to join our facilities management team. This role is critical in ensuring that the physical infrastructure of our hospital and hospitality environments operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory standards. The successful candidate will oversee routine maintenance, coordinate repairs, and lead a small team of technicians to keep building systems running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and supervise daily preventive maintenance activities for mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and power distribution equipment to identify potential issues before they become critical.
- Coordinate emergency repairs and respond promptly to service requests from clinical, hotel, and administrative staff.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service reports, and asset registers using Microsoft Excel.
- Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors, obtaining quotations, overseeing work quality, and verifying invoicing.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all maintenance activities.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety awareness.
- Assist in budgeting and cost‑control initiatives by tracking material usage and labor hours.
- Collaborate with the engineering and procurement departments to evaluate new technologies that improve facility performance.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 or SMK/S1 in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Engineering.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on maintenance experience in a hospital or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of building structures, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment specific to healthcare or hotel environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with staff at all levels.
- Demonstrated responsibility, reliability, and a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
