Introduction
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior DevOps Engineer – Infrastruktur & Otomasi to join our rapidly growing technology team. In this role you will be the guardian of our production environments, ensuring that services are reliable, performant, and secure across multiple cloud platforms. You will work closely with software developers, system administrators, and product owners to streamline deployment pipelines, automate routine operations, and continuously improve the stability of our critical applications.
The position is based in our Jakarta office, with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 09:00‑18:00. Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor production systems to guarantee high availability, low latency, and overall system stability.
- Design, configure, and manage alerting and monitoring solutions using TrueWatch, ensuring that critical incidents are detected early.
- Build, optimize, and sustain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI and Jenkins, enabling rapid and reliable software releases.
- Deploy, scale, and manage applications and infrastructure on Huawei Cloud, including virtual machines, containers, and serverless services.
- Lead incident investigation and root‑cause analysis across application and infrastructure layers, documenting findings and remediation steps.
- Analyze system logs, metrics, and monitoring alerts; write efficient MySQL queries for data verification and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with development teams to refine deployment processes, improve test automation, and reduce mean time to recovery (MTTR).
- Create and maintain automation scripts (Shell, Python, or Ansible) for routine operational tasks such as backups, patch management, and environment provisioning.
- Implement security best practices, including vulnerability scanning, access control reviews, and compliance audits.
- Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge about DevOps best practices, and contribute to the team’s technical roadmap.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, system administration, or site reliability engineering.
- Proven expertise with monitoring tools (TrueWatch or equivalent) and strong incident‑response skills.
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD concepts and practical experience with GitLab CI and Jenkins pipelines.
- Extensive experience managing cloud infrastructure, preferably on Huawei Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
- Solid command of Linux/Unix environments, networking fundamentals, and scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Ability to write and optimize SQL queries in MySQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving capabilities, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English; ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
