We are seeking a dedicated Guru Pendidikan Jasmani dan Kesehatan (Physical Education and Health Teacher) to join our dynamic educational team. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging Physical Education and Health curricula aligned with national standards and the school’s educational philosophy.
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessment tools that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Conduct regular fitness assessments, monitor student progress, and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular sports activities, inter‑school competitions, and health‑related community outreach programs.
- Integrate health education topics such as nutrition, mental well‑being, and disease prevention into classroom instruction.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well‑equipped learning environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, counselors, and administrators to support holistic student development.
- For Madin (religious) classes: teach physical education while respecting Islamic values, incorporating appropriate modesty guidelines.
- Read and interpret classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning) and apply principles of Nahwu‑Shorof to support religious‑based physical education modules.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student health reports in accordance with institutional policies.
- Foster a culture of loyalty, integrity, and adherence to the institution’s rules and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Physical Education, Sports Science, Health Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree (S2) is highly desirable.
- Academic background should be linear with the position, preferably from a recognized public university (PTN).
- No concurrent employment with other educational institutions.
- Demonstrated loyalty and willingness to uphold the organization’s regulations and code of conduct.
- For Madin teaching roles:
- Proficiency in reading classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning) and solid knowledge of Nahwu‑Shorof.
- Completed at least five years of formal pesantren (Islamic boarding school) education.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in Arabic and English is a significant advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to motivate students, and a passion for promoting healthy lifestyles.
- Basic first‑aid certification and understanding of emergency response procedures.
- Flexibility to work six days a week and adapt to the school’s schedule.
- Experience in curriculum development, extracurricular program management, or community health initiatives is preferred but not mandatory.
