Responsibilities
The Capster Profesional will be responsible for a wide range of duties that ensure both client satisfaction and smooth salon operations:
- Perform hair cutting, coloring, and styling services in accordance with the latest industry trends and client preferences.
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look, offering professional recommendations on cuts, treatments, and product usage.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to strict hygiene standards, including sterilizing tools after each use.
- Stay current with emerging techniques such as balayage, ombre, and precision razor cuts through regular training and industry events.
- Collaborate closely with the front‑desk team to manage appointment schedules, ensuring minimal wait times and optimal client flow.
- Promote salon retail products, providing knowledgeable suggestions that enhance the client’s hair health and generate additional revenue.
- Assist in onboarding and mentoring junior stylists or apprentices, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Handle client feedback gracefully, addressing any concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction scores.
- Participate in promotional events, photo shoots, and community outreach programs that showcase the salon’s expertise.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (or equivalent) with a focus on cosmetology or related field.
- Preferably a graduate of an SMK program specializing in hair styling (tata rambut).
- Prior experience working in a professional hair salon is highly desirable, though enthusiastic newcomers with a strong portfolio are also welcome.
- Professional appearance: neat, well‑groomed, and presentable at all times.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
- Strong teamwork orientation; able to cooperate effectively with stylists, assistants, and reception staff.
- Availability to work full‑time hours, specifically from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
- Commitment to a contractual employment arrangement, with benefits discussed during the interview process.

- Key skill: Artistic hair styling (Seni Menata Rambut) with a keen eye for detail.
