Introduction
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated interns to join our Human Resources Department at a leading hospitality hotel. Responsibilities
- Assist the HR team with daily administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, updating the HRIS, and preparing documentation for onboarding and off‑boarding.
- Support recruitment activities by posting job advertisements, screening résumés, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Participate in the coordination of training sessions, workshops, and employee development programs, ensuring all logistics are handled smoothly.
- Help compile and analyze HR metrics (e.g., attendance, turnover, training completion) to produce basic reports for senior managers.
- Provide frontline assistance to staff inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and general HR procedures.
- Contribute to the preparation of payroll data under supervision, verifying accuracy and confidentiality.
- Attend and take notes during HR meetings, then distribute minutes to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain a tidy and organized filing system, both physical and digital, to ensure easy retrieval of information.
Requirements
- Active enrollment in a college or vocational program, pursuing a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Hospitality, Tourism, Culinary Arts, Accounting, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum education level: D3/D4 (or equivalent).
- Must be able to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Professional appearance, disciplined work ethic, and a commitment to punctuality.
- Proficiency in English is preferred; basic knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Willingness to adhere to the internship schedule set by the hotel and academic institution (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
