Introduction

We are seeking a motivated Staf Pengambil Order Pelanggan to join the hospitality team at Swissôtel, a distinguished brand within the Accor portfolio. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests promptly and courteously, taking food and beverage orders with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Communicate orders clearly to the kitchen and bar staff, ensuring timely preparation and delivery.
  • Provide detailed menu explanations, suggest pairings, and accommodate special dietary requests.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized service station, adhering to Swissôtel’s strict cleanliness and hygiene protocols.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience, addressing concerns or special requests immediately.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to coordinate smooth shift transitions and support peak‑time operations.
  • Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, following company procedures for cash handling and receipt issuance.
  • Assist in inventory checks, restocking of service supplies, and reporting of any equipment issues.
  • Participate in regular training sessions and briefings to stay updated on new menu items, service standards, and Accor’s corporate initiatives.
  • Uphold the brand’s service standards by consistently demonstrating professionalism, well‑groomed appearance, and a service‑oriented attitude.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 or high school diploma; a background in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar guest‑service or order‑taking role, preferably within a hotel or upscale restaurant.
  • Strong verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; good English proficiency (spoken and written) is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities, with a focus on active listening, empathy, and problem‑solving.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, especially during high‑traffic periods and weekend shifts.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
  • Professional appearance, well‑groomed, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest service.
  • Team‑player mindset with the capacity to collaborate across departments and support collective goals.
  • Basic computer literacy for order entry systems and point‑of‑sale (POS) platforms.
