Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Staff Kitchen Operations and Maintenance professional to join our dynamic food‑service team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently, supporting both the culinary staff and the broader operations of our establishment. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including the preparation, cooking, and plating processes to meet quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, grills, mixers, and refrigeration units.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials, spices, cleaning supplies, and smallwares; place orders and receive deliveries.
  • Coordinate with chefs, line cooks, and service staff to streamline workflow and reduce bottlenecks during peak service periods.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on proper equipment handling, food safety protocols, and emergency procedures.
  • Document maintenance schedules, report equipment failures, and liaise with external service providers for repairs.
  • Maintain accurate logs of temperature checks, cleaning cycles, and pest‑control activities.
  • Assist in menu development by providing input on feasible cooking techniques and equipment capabilities.
  • Adapt quickly to high‑pressure situations, ensuring that service standards are upheld without compromising safety.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
