We are seeking a skilled Mekanik Mobil Profesional – Perawatan & Perbaikan Kendaraan to join our dynamic automotive service team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, brake inspections, and fluid top‑ups.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot engine, transmission, fuel‑injection, and electrical system faults using OEM diagnostic equipment.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble engine components, including pistons, valves, and timing mechanisms, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct comprehensive electrical diagnostics, interpret wiring diagrams, and repair or replace faulty sensors, ECUs, and wiring harnesses.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders with detailed descriptions of performed tasks and parts used.
- Collaborate closely with fellow mechanics, service advisors, and parts specialists to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Provide clear explanations to customers regarding recommended repairs, cost estimates, and maintenance schedules.
- Stay current with the latest automotive technologies, including hybrid and electric vehicle systems, through regular training and self‑study.
- Uphold strict safety standards, keep the workshop clean, and ensure all tools and equipment are properly calibrated.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements to reduce turnaround time and improve service quality.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Male (as per client specifications).
- Experience: At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in a dealer or independent auto workshop, with proven competence in both mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Technical Skills:
- In‑depth knowledge of fuel‑injection systems and engine management.
- Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, sensors, and ECU diagnostics.
- Proficiency with diagnostic scan tools and standard workshop equipment.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- High level of discipline, punctuality, and responsibility.
- Customer‑focused attitude with a willingness to explain technical issues in layman’s terms.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and continuously improve technical expertise.
- Personal Qualities: Polite, respectful, and able to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.
- Work Schedule: Full‑time, Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 18:00 (exact days to be confirmed).
