Introduction
Amartha, a leading micro‑finance platform in Indonesia, is looking for a dynamic Business Partner – Area Pelalawan (Pangkalan Kerinci – Ukui) to join our growing field team. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between Amartha and local households, helping to identify new borrowers, provide economic coaching, and ensure that financing applications meet our rigorous standards. This role is based in the Pelalawan region and requires frequent travel to client sites, community gatherings, and branch offices across the Amartha network.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers by conducting outreach activities, community events, and referrals to expand Amartha’s customer base.
- Provide one‑on‑one economic counseling to household members, helping them understand budgeting, savings, and loan repayment strategies.
- Conduct field surveys and perform feasibility analyses on loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s policies, risk criteria, and procedural guidelines.
- Prepare detailed recommendation reports for the financing committee, highlighting creditworthiness, collateral options, and repayment capacity.
- Facilitate weekly member meetings, track transaction records, and support clients throughout the loan lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal teams—such as credit analysts, product managers, and operations—to streamline the loan approval process and improve service delivery.
- Maintain accurate field documentation, including client interviews, survey data, and follow‑up notes, using Amartha’s digital platform.
- Act as an ambassador of Amartha’s mission, promoting financial inclusion and responsible lending within the community.
- Report regularly to regional supervisors on key performance indicators, market trends, and challenges encountered on the ground.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; candidates with a bachelor’s degree (S1) are strongly preferred.
- Age: up to 28 years old (maximum 35 years for broader consideration).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Valid driver’s license and ownership of a two‑wheel motor vehicle for field mobility.
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—to interact effectively with borrowers, teammates, and senior management.
- Ability to work independently in remote field locations and adapt to varying community dynamics.
- Fresh graduates are welcome, but prior experience in micro‑finance, community development, or sales is an advantage.
- Willingness to be deployed across any Amartha branch as operational needs dictate.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and familiarity with mobile data collection tools.
