Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive purchasing strategy that aligns with the company’s financial goals and service standards.
  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers, conducting market research to stay ahead of industry trends and pricing fluctuations.
  • Lead negotiation sessions with vendors, securing favorable contracts, volume discounts, and service level agreements while safeguarding product quality.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end procurement cycle, including requisition processing, purchase order issuance, and order tracking.
  • Collaborate closely with the culinary, operations, and finance teams to forecast demand, set inventory targets, and prevent stock‑outs or overstock situations.
  • Oversee the use of the restaurant’s point‑of‑sale (POS) and cash register applications to ensure accurate recording of purchasing data and seamless integration with inventory management systems.
  • Prepare regular performance reports, analyzing cost savings, supplier performance metrics, and compliance with contractual terms.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives such as supplier scorecards, lean purchasing processes, and sustainability criteria.
  • Mentor junior purchasing staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, ethical sourcing, and data‑driven decision making.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum D3/D4 in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Gender: Female (as specified by the client’s hiring policy).
  • Age: Maximum 30 years old.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in purchasing, procurement, or logistics, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with POS/cash register applications used in restaurant environments; solid command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Core Competencies: Strong negotiation and contract management abilities, analytical mindset, excellent communication (both written and verbal), and a professional, attractive appearance.
  • Soft Skills: High level of integrity, ability to work under pressure, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative team spirit.
  • Language: Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus for dealing with international suppliers.
