We are seeking a dedicated Full‑time Daily Worker Cook to join our bustling kitchen team. Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate a variety of dishes according to standardized recipes and menu specifications.
- Assist in daily kitchen set‑up, including stocking workstations, organizing utensils, and ensuring all equipment is operational.
- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene practices, including proper storage, labeling, and temperature control.
- Perform routine cleaning of cooking areas, equipment, and storage spaces to uphold a spotless work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and assist with receiving and rotating stock to minimize waste.
- Collaborate closely with fellow cooks, servers, and managers to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Adhere to shift schedules, arriving on time for both morning and evening rotations, and communicate any scheduling conflicts promptly.
- Support special events and catering orders by adapting recipes and scaling production as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, offering suggestions for menu enhancements and operational efficiencies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent, preferably with a focus on culinary arts (Tata Boga).
- At least 1 year of proven experience working as a cook in a commercial kitchen.
- Strong grasp of basic cooking techniques, seasoning principles, and food hygiene regulations.
- Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers, ovens, and slicers.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to assist colleagues and share knowledge.
- Highly disciplined, reliable, and detail‑oriented, with a commitment to punctuality.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
