Introduction

Responsibilities
- Deliver cargo to designated destinations following pre‑planned routes, schedules, and the specific shipping documents provided.
- Inspect the vehicle before departure and after each shift to verify mechanical integrity, tire pressure, fluid levels, and overall roadworthiness.
- Secure loads properly, monitor cargo condition during transit, and oversee safe loading and unloading procedures to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur while on the road.
- Communicate promptly with the dispatch team about traffic delays, road closures, or any other obstacles that could affect delivery timelines.
- Prepare and hand over delivery receipts, proof of delivery (POD) forms, and any required paperwork to the receiving party.
- Participate in periodic safety briefings, vehicle maintenance workshops, and driver training sessions.
- Adhere to all local traffic laws, company policies, and industry regulations governing heavy‑vehicle operation.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Male candidates only, as per client specifications.
- At least 1 year of professional truck driving experience, preferably in an urban or peri‑urban environment.
- Valid Indonesian driving license for the appropriate vehicle class.
- Strong knowledge of Jakarta’s road network, major highways, and traffic patterns.
- Excellent time‑management skills and ability to follow detailed delivery instructions.
- Physical stamina to assist with loading/unloading when required.
- Good communication skills, both spoken and written, to report status updates and complete documentation accurately.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, with a clean driving record and no major traffic violations in the past three years.
