Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and courteous service to all customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Assist shoppers in locating products, answering product‑related questions, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑presented sales floor, including regular tidying of merchandise displays.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process sales through the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, and issue receipts.
- Receive, unpack, and stock new inventory, verifying quantities against delivery notes.
- Monitor stock levels on the shop floor and communicate replenishment needs to the store manager.
- Support promotional activities, set up seasonal displays, and ensure pricing tags are correct.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards, including regular sanitation of work areas.
- Participate in shift handover briefings, reporting any issues or irregularities to senior staff.
- Remain flexible to work shift schedules, including early mornings, evenings, and holiday periods such as H+1 Lebaran.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only, aged 18‑25 years.
- Demonstrated ability to observe the five daily prayers (Sholat 5 waktu).
- Previous retail or customer‑service experience is preferred.
- Professional appearance: neat, tidy, and well‑groomed at all times.
- Strong communication skills and a courteous, respectful attitude toward customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work reliably on a shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
- Basic proficiency with store management systems and point‑of‑sale software.
- Commitment to punctuality, teamwork, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
