Introduction
BA Consultant is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Corporate Law Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in Jakarta. This senior position is integral to our corporate advisory services, providing sophisticated legal support to both domestic and multinational clients across a range of industries, including finance, technology, and manufacturing. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal counsel on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and restructuring projects.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including shareholder agreements, loan facilities, distribution contracts, and licensing agreements.
- Represent the firm and its clients in civil and criminal court proceedings, preparing pleadings, evidence bundles, and managing all aspects of litigation strategy.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Advise clients on compliance with Indonesian corporate law, securities regulations, antitrust rules, and international standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—finance, tax, and compliance—to ensure cohesive and legally sound business solutions.
- Mentor junior lawyers and law interns, providing guidance on legal writing, case management, and professional development.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date case files, ensuring that all documentation complies with court and statutory filing requirements.
- Participate in business development activities, including client pitches, workshops, and legal seminars.
- Stay abreast of legislative changes, jurisprudential trends, and emerging legal risks affecting corporate clients.
Requirements
- Indonesian nationality; gender neutral (open to all qualified candidates).
- Age between 25 and 30 years.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Law from a recognized university.
- Active membership in PERADI (KTA PERADI) and possession of a sworn advocate certificate (Berita Acara Sumpah Advokat).
- At least 2 years of proven experience litigating civil and criminal matters, with a solid track record of courtroom advocacy.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and factual scenarios.
- Deep understanding of procedural law, evidence handling, and the filing processes for both civil and criminal cases.
- Valid Indonesian driving licenses (SIM A and C) for occasional site visits and client meetings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently under pressure while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, negotiation, and client relationship management.
- Willingness to be based at our Jakarta office and to travel to other BA Consultant branch locations as required.
