We are seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacy Associate to join our expanding network of pharmacy branches in the Malang region, specifically in Kepanjen and Malang city. Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and over‑the‑counter products in accordance with pharmacy law and company protocols.
- Verify prescription details, dosage calculations, and potential drug interactions, ensuring patient safety at every step.
- Maintain and update inventory records using MS Office and spreadsheet applications, conducting regular stock checks and managing expiries.
- Provide courteous and knowledgeable counseling to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and storage instructions.
- Collaborate closely with pharmacists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to resolve any prescription queries or issues.
- Support the preparation of medication compounding when required, following strict hygiene and documentation standards.
- Adhere to shift schedules, including weekends, and meet all established deadlines for reporting, ordering, and administrative tasks.
- Participate in continuous quality‑improvement initiatives, such as audits, patient feedback analysis, and staff training sessions.
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards when handling patient information and medical records.
- Assist in promotional activities, health campaigns, and community outreach programs organized by the pharmacy.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum SMK Pharmacy (or equivalent) with a preference for candidates holding a D3/D4 degree in Pharmacy.
- Gender: Open to all genders; however, the current posting emphasizes a preference for female candidates due to specific operational considerations.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in operating computers, MS Office suite, and spreadsheet management for inventory and reporting.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to maintain high accuracy in dispensing and record‑keeping.
- Teamwork & Independence: Comfortable working both collaboratively in a team and autonomously on individual tasks.
- Time Management: Experience meeting tight deadlines and handling multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Shift Availability: Willingness to work scheduled shifts, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Location Flexibility: Ability to be placed in either Kepanjen or Malang branches.
