Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back‑of‑house facilities according to the hotel’s standard operating procedures.
- Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure all amenities are properly stocked, linens are fresh, and the overall appearance meets five‑star quality.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or missing inventory to the Engineering and Front Office departments promptly.
- Collaborate closely with the Reception team to coordinate room turnover times, special guest requests, and VIP preparations.
- Adhere to strict hygiene and safety protocols, including the correct handling of cleaning chemicals and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Participate in daily briefings and shift handovers to ensure seamless communication between morning, afternoon, and night crews.
- Maintain an organized work station, manage cleaning carts efficiently, and ensure all equipment is kept in good working condition.
- Assist in deep‑cleaning projects, seasonal décor set‑up, and special events as directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Uphold the hotel’s brand standards by delivering courteous, friendly, and respectful service to all guests and colleagues.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK (preferably with a focus on hospitality) or a degree in Hotel Management.
- At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping or front‑desk operations within a hotel setting; experience in a five‑star environment is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early morning, afternoon, and night rotations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: friendly, courteous, detail‑oriented, and disciplined.
- Strong sense of responsibility, respect for the workplace, and a commitment to teamwork.
- Physical fitness to meet the weight limit of 55 kg and the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Must not be currently enrolled in any academic program (no school or university commitments).
- Ability to communicate effectively in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English proficiency is advantageous.
