Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential borrowers in the local community, presenting Amartha’s loan programs and explaining the benefits of micro‑financing.
  • Conduct on‑site visits to households, assess their financial needs, and provide tailored economic counseling to improve budgeting, savings, and income‑generation strategies.
  • Perform detailed surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with internal policies, risk‑assessment frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the full cycle of loan repayment collection, maintaining accurate records, following up with borrowers, and reporting delinquency trends to the regional manager.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations team to update client data in the digital platform, share field insights, and suggest process improvements.
  • Participate in community events and workshops to raise awareness of financial inclusion, building trust and long‑term relationships with local stakeholders.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct, representing Amartha’s brand values of integrity, transparency, and empowerment.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
  • Age: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years for senior candidates).
  • Both male and female candidates are welcome; women are highly preferred to promote gender diversity in field teams.
  • Own a reliable motorbike or vehicle to travel across assigned territories daily.
  • Strong personal integrity: honesty, attention to detail, and disciplined work habits.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to convey complex financial concepts in simple terms.
  • Resilience and toughness to work independently in field environments, often under challenging conditions.
  • Basic digital literacy: comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and Amartha’s internal application for data entry and reporting.
  • No prior experience required; however, previous exposure to sales, community outreach, or financial services is advantageous.
