We are seeking a motivated Cashier – Customer Service & Transaction Specialist to join our dynamic retail team. This position is a front‑line role that combines precise cash handling with exceptional customer interaction. Responsibilities
- Accurately process all sales transactions using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, including cash, credit, debit, and mobile payments.
- Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to every customer, answering questions about products, promotions, and store policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that merchandise displays and promotional materials are well‑stocked and visually appealing.
- Perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, prepare cash deposits, and report any discrepancies to management promptly.
- Assist in inventory counts, receive shipments, and restock shelves as needed, helping to keep the sales floor fully supplied.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross‑sell products, contributing to store sales targets and enhancing the customer experience.
- Handle customer returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies, ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve any issues that arise during the shift, fostering a cooperative work environment.
- Participate in ongoing training programs to stay current with new POS features, product knowledge, and safety procedures.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and security protocols, including proper handling of cash and confidential customer information.
Requirements
- Male candidates up to 28 years old; however, all genders are welcome to apply.
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA), Vocational School (SMK), or equivalent.
- Strong desire to learn, with a proactive and diligent attitude toward daily tasks.
- Honesty, discipline, and a high level of personal responsibility.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting, supporting colleagues and sharing information.
- Basic proficiency with cash register systems and familiarity with retail software (e.g., POS, inventory management).
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
