Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and present a wide variety of healthy dishes, ensuring each plate meets our standards for flavor, nutrition, and visual appeal.
  • Develop seasonal menus in collaboration with the Head Chef, incorporating fresh produce, whole grains, lean proteins, and plant‑based alternatives.
  • Maintain strict hygiene and food safety protocols, including proper storage, temperature control, and sanitation of all work areas.
  • Manage inventory, conduct daily stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers to guarantee the availability of high‑quality ingredients.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, open communication, and mutual respect.
  • Work efficiently under pressure during peak service periods while maintaining consistency and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate closely with front‑of‑house teams to ensure timely service and respond swiftly to special dietary requests or modifications.
  • Monitor kitchen equipment, report any malfunctions, and assist in routine maintenance to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Contribute ideas for new healthy recipes, cooking methods, and presentation styles that align with current nutrition trends.
  • Adhere to the scheduled work hours: Monday‑Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, and remain flexible for occasional events or catering assignments.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in a professional kitchen, preferably within a health‑oriented or wellness‑focused establishment.
  • Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of healthy cooking techniques, ingredient pairings, and nutritional balance.
  • Excellent communication abilities; able to convey instructions clearly and listen actively to feedback.
  • Honest, responsible, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Resilience under pressure; capable of maintaining composure and quality standards during busy service periods.
