Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Collector Lapangan (Field Collector) to join our dynamic team in Cianjur. This role focuses on on‑site debt recovery, requiring strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of the local area, and the ability to meet strict collection targets. The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and will play a pivotal part in maintaining the financial health of our portfolio of consumer accounts.
Responsibilities
- Conduct face‑to‑face collection activities with customers across the Cianjur region, ensuring a professional and courteous approach.
- Visit client locations to retrieve overdue payments, negotiate repayment plans, and document any agreements reached.
- Prepare detailed daily and weekly visit reports, including payment status, customer feedback, and any escalation points.
- Achieve and exceed assigned collection targets while adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions in the company’s CRM system.
- Identify high‑risk accounts early, flagging them for further review by senior management.
- Collaborate with the finance and legal teams to ensure proper handling of disputed or delinquent accounts.
- Provide regular updates to supervisors regarding field conditions, route efficiency, and potential process improvements.
- Support community outreach initiatives by explaining credit terms and promoting responsible borrowing practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in collections; 2 years preferred.
- Male candidates only (as specified by the client’s operational policy).
- Valid Indonesian driving license (SIM C) and ownership of a reliable two‑wheel vehicle.
- In‑depth knowledge of the Cianjur area, including major streets, neighborhoods, and commercial zones.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to de‑escalate tense situations.
- Strong organizational abilities for managing routes, appointments, and documentation.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and experience using collection or CRM software.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and a customer‑oriented mindset.
