Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Asisten Logistik to join our dynamic warehouse team in Denpasar. This entry‑level position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast‑paced environment and are eager to develop a solid foundation in logistics and supply‑chain operations. The role operates on a Monday‑to‑Saturday schedule, from 08:00 to 16:00, with the possibility of shift work when demand peaks.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of paint products, ancillary materials, and other inventory items from trucks and delivery vans, ensuring safe handling and accurate placement.
- Organize and arrange goods within the warehouse according to established slotting standards, optimizing space utilization and facilitating quick retrieval.
- Support the receipt, inspection, storage, and issue processes by verifying quantities, checking for damage, and updating inventory records.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard‑free warehouse environment by sweeping aisles, disposing of waste, and ensuring that safety signage is visible.
- Conduct routine condition checks on stored items, reporting any signs of deterioration, leakage, or damage to the warehouse supervisor.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to prepare outbound shipments, load pallets, and coordinate with drivers for timely delivery to customers or branch locations.
- Participate in periodic stock‑take activities, assisting with cycle counts and reconciliations to uphold inventory accuracy.
- Provide backup support for other warehouse functions, such as packaging, labeling, and documentation, during peak periods.
- Adhere strictly to company safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or related logistics setting is preferred.
- Male candidates only, as specified by the client’s operational policies.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong sense of discipline, honesty, and accountability; punctuality is essential.
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when tasks require focused attention.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including occasional evenings or weekends, to meet operational demands.
- Basic literacy in Indonesian; proficiency in English is a plus for interacting with international suppliers.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software is advantageous.
