Introduction

We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Cook – Food Preparation Specialist to join our dynamic kitchen team. Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and plate a variety of dishes in accordance with standardized recipes and portion controls.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station, adhering to local health regulations and company hygiene policies.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of daily food prep, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
  • Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and help with receiving and storing deliveries to minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with senior chefs to develop new menu items, suggest improvements, and test experimental dishes.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers, while performing routine maintenance checks.
  • Work under pressure during peak service hours, ensuring timely delivery of orders without compromising quality.
  • Document any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Participate in regular kitchen briefings, training sessions, and performance reviews.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: 18 – 30 years.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a commercial kitchen or food service environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong discipline, honesty, and a commitment to teamwork.
  • Basic culinary skills, including proficiency in cooking techniques, seasoning, and plating.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to follow instructions from senior kitchen staff.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during special events.
