Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Pelatih Pengembangan Kompetensi Karyawan (Employee Competency Development Trainer) to join our learning and development team in Jawa Timur. This full‑time position operates Monday through Friday, 08:00‑17:00, and involves both on‑site training sessions and travel to regional offices. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, at least two years of relevant experience, and a passion for nurturing talent within a fast‑growing micro‑finance and financial services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive training needs analyses based on performance evaluations, strategic goals, and feedback from individual business units.
  • Design, develop, and continuously update curricula, training modules, handouts, slide decks, and facilitator guides that are engaging, interactive, and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Deliver high‑impact classroom and virtual training sessions for new hires and existing staff, utilizing adult‑learning principles and a variety of instructional techniques.
  • Measure training effectiveness through post‑session surveys, assessment scores, and on‑the‑job performance metrics, then provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (HR, Operations, Compliance) and external partners (public training providers, subject‑matter experts) to ensure seamless execution of training programs.
  • Maintain accurate training records, produce periodic reports for senior management, and track key performance indicators such as completion rates and ROI.
  • Support broader employee development initiatives, including the Buddy Program, mentorship schemes, and motivational workshops.
  • Travel to various branches across Jawa Timur to conduct on‑site sessions, assess local training gaps, and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: S1 (any discipline) with a strong preference for studies in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in training, learning & development, or a comparable role, preferably within micro‑finance, multi‑finance, or banking sectors.
  • Deep understanding of training design methodologies, instructional design, and adult learning theories.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and simplify complex concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite—especially PowerPoint for content creation, Excel for data analysis, and Word for documentation.
  • Strong organizational abilities, detail orientation, and efficient time‑management to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region and relocate to Jawa Timur as needed.
