We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator – Kindergarten to join our growing team in Pekanbaru. As a full‑day educator, you will be instrumental in shaping the foundational years of our children, guiding them through the wonders of discovery, play, and early literacy.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age‑appropriate, culturally responsive lesson plans that align with the national kindergarten curriculum.
- Facilitate daily activities such as storytelling, music, arts & crafts, and basic numeracy that stimulate cognitive and social development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom setting, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Observe and assess each child’s progress, providing constructive feedback to parents during regular meetings.
- Implement Islamic values by incorporating Qur’an recitation (Al‑Quʿān) and moral teachings into daily routines.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to design interdisciplinary projects and special events.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, training sessions, and competency competitions to continuously improve teaching practice.
- Prepare weekly reports on attendance, learning outcomes, and any behavioral observations.
- Support school-wide initiatives such as health campaigns, community outreach, and cultural celebrations.
- Uphold the institution’s policies and standards, demonstrating integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.
Requirements
- Female candidates who wear the hijab (Muslimah Berjilbab) and embody independence and resilience.
- Ability to read and recite the Al‑Quʿān fluently.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree (S1) is a strong advantage.
- Willingness to undergo a probationary training period and a two‑year contract with clear career progression.
- Full‑day availability (Monday‑Friday, 07:30 – 17:00) with a commitment to punctuality.
- Patience, friendliness, cheerfulness, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with peers, parents, and administrators.
- Readiness to be placed in the Pekanbaru region and comply with all local regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
- Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and adherence to the organization’s code of conduct.
