Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging English language lessons for students in Grades 1‑6, aligning with the national curriculum and school’s pedagogical standards.
- Incorporate interactive teaching methods such as storytelling, games, multimedia resources, and project‑based learning to foster active participation.
- Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to address individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum specialists, and administrative staff to design cross‑disciplinary activities that integrate English with subjects like science, social studies, and art.
- Maintain accurate classroom records, including attendance, grades, and lesson plans, and submit reports to the school’s academic office on a regular basis.
- Participate in parent‑teacher conferences, school events, and extracurricular programs, serving as a positive role model and communicator.
- Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, seminars, and language proficiency courses to stay current with best practices in ESL education.
- Support the school’s mission to develop critical thinking, creativity, and global awareness among students.
Requirements
- Male or female candidates, maximum age of 32 years.
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, English Language Teaching, or a related field with a GPA of at least 3.00.
- High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) is acceptable for Teacher Assistant or Administrative Support positions.
- At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience preferred; fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; TOEFL or IELTS certification is highly valued.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop teaching materials, lesson plans, and assessment tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Commitment to the school’s working schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
