Introduction
SPX Express, a leading third‑party logistics (3PL) provider in Indonesia, is seeking a dynamic Hub Lead for its Langkaplancar hub in Pangandaran, West Java. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth end‑to‑end parcel handling, from the moment a shipment leaves the warehouse to its final delivery by our couriers. The successful candidate will join a fast‑growing team, reporting directly to the Regional Operations Manager, and will be instrumental in driving operational excellence within a highly competitive logistics market.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain daily schedules for parcel pickup and delivery, aligning courier availability with customer expectations.
- Monitor real‑time shipment progress, proactively identifying and resolving delays in both inbound and outbound flows.
- Design and assign delivery zones to optimize route efficiency, reduce fuel consumption, and improve on‑time performance.
- Oversee inbound and outbound processes, coordinating closely with 3PL partners to ensure seamless hand‑offs and accurate inventory reconciliation.
- Supervise sorting operations, ensuring parcels are correctly classified, labeled, and dispatched to the appropriate delivery routes.
- Lead a team of warehouse staff and couriers, providing coaching on safety protocols, productivity standards, and customer service excellence.
- Generate daily and weekly performance reports, tracking key metrics such as pick‑rate, delivery success, and error rates.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data analytics to refine processes and reduce operational costs.
- Maintain compliance with local regulations, company policies, and health‑safety standards throughout all hub activities.
- Collaborate with the HR and Finance departments to manage shift rosters, overtime, and payroll accuracy.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; diploma or bachelor’s degree in any field is advantageous.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field, with a strong understanding of planning, shipping, and warehousing.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including strategic decision‑making, team motivation, and conflict resolution.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong analytical mindset—comfortable using KPIs and dashboards to drive performance improvements.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including early mornings or evenings as operational needs dictate.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Kab. Pangandaran, Jawa Barat.
- Technical proficiency with logistics software (WMS/TMS) and Microsoft Office suite.
