Introduction
TIKI is one of Indonesia’s most trusted logistics and courier providers, delivering millions of parcels across the archipelago each year. We are expanding our local delivery network in Bangkalan and are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Kurir Pengiriman Barang. This role offers a dynamic work environment where you will be the face of TIKI, ensuring that every parcel reaches its destination safely and on time.
Responsibilities
- Collect parcels from the TIKI warehouse or directly from senders and verify package contents against shipping documents.
- Plan and execute daily delivery routes within the Bangkalan area, optimizing for traffic patterns and customer time‑windows.
- Transport packages using your own motorbike, adhering to all traffic regulations and maintaining a clean, well‑serviced vehicle.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting recipients politely, confirming receipt, and handling any inquiries or issues on the spot.
- Manage cash‑on‑delivery (COD) transactions securely, ensuring accurate cash handling and timely reporting to the finance team.
- Maintain a daily log of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents, and submit the report to the dispatch supervisor before the end of the shift.
- Perform routine checks on your motorcycle, such as oil level, tire pressure, and brake functionality, and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist in occasional special projects, such as same‑day delivery pilots, promotional campaigns, or community outreach events.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 30 years old or younger (preference for candidates within this range).
- Gender: Open to all genders; the role historically emphasizes male candidates, but TIKI values diversity and encourages all qualified applicants to apply.
- Valid Indonesian driving license (SIM C) with a clean record.
- Own a reliable motorbike and possess a personal Android smartphone for route navigation and communication.
- Strong knowledge of the Bangkalan area, including major streets, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns.
- Personal attributes: honesty, courtesy, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high service standards.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for handling documentation and cash transactions.
- Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
