Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Operator Sorter Gudang to join our fast‑paced warehouse team in Jakarta Barat. As a key member of the SPX logistics network, you will play an essential role in ensuring that parcels are accurately sorted, safely handled, and promptly dispatched to their final destinations. Responsibilities
- Perform precise sorting of packages according to designated areas or shipping codes, using both manual methods and barcode scanning technology.
- Load and unload goods from and onto operational vehicles, adhering to safety protocols and minimizing product damage.
- Scan each parcel into the warehouse management system (WMS) to maintain real‑time inventory visibility and accurate tracking.
- Arrange sorted packages neatly on pallets or conveyor belts, ensuring they are protected from crushing, moisture, or any other form of damage.
- Assist supervisors during peak periods with bulk loading and unloading tasks, following clear instructions to meet tight dispatch deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by sweeping aisles, disposing of waste, and keeping workstations free of obstruction.
- Report any irregularities, such as damaged items or system discrepancies, to the shift leader for immediate resolution.
- Participate in regular safety briefings and contribute ideas for process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Maximum age: 40 years.
- Gender: Male (as specified by local labor regulations for this role).
- Experience: No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read shipping codes and operate scanning devices.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift (up to 25 kg), and walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with supervisors and teammates.
- Analytical mindset for basic logistics tasks, such as identifying the most efficient sorting routes.
