Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring the shop complies with all safety and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels by forecasting demand, placing orders with suppliers, receiving shipments, and conducting regular stock audits.
- Recruit, train, and supervise store staff, fostering a collaborative team spirit and monitoring performance against key service standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, resolve complaints promptly, and cultivate long‑term relationships with regular shoppers.
- Develop and execute local marketing initiatives such as promotions, loyalty programs, and in‑store displays to boost foot traffic and average basket size.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including daily sales summaries, expense tracking, and profit‑and‑loss statements, to inform strategic decisions.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors, ensuring the store offers competitive products while preserving healthy margins.
- Implement the store’s Management Information System (MIS) to track sales trends, manage employee schedules, and generate real‑time analytics.
- Ensure the shop adheres to legal requirements, including tax filings, labor regulations, and licensing obligations.
- Continuously seek improvement opportunities, from layout optimization to adopting new technology that enhances the shopping experience.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old (maximum).
- Gender: Female candidates are preferred, though the role is open to all qualified applicants.
- Experience: No prior experience required; strong willingness to learn and grow in retail management is essential.
- Professional Appearance: Presentable and well‑groomed to reflect the store’s brand image.
