Candidates will work directly in the community, building trust, identifying new prospects, and supporting members through the entire loan lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers across the assigned territories, presenting Amartha’s micro‑finance programs and articulating their benefits.
- Conduct on‑site visits to households and small businesses to assess their economic situation, gather required documentation, and perform initial feasibility studies.
- Analyze loan applications against Amartha’s underwriting policies, ensuring compliance with risk standards, and prepare detailed reports for the credit committee.
- Present findings and recommendations to the financing committee, advocating for viable candidates and explaining risk mitigation strategies.
- Provide ongoing economic coaching to existing members, helping them manage cash flow, improve financial literacy, and achieve sustainable growth.
- Facilitate weekly coordination meetings with members, tracking repayment performance, addressing concerns, and fostering a collaborative community environment.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM system, updating status, notes, and follow‑up actions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams—including operations, product, and compliance—to continuously improve the field service experience.
- Travel extensively within the assigned region using a personal two‑wheel vehicle, ensuring coverage of remote and underserved areas.
- Represent Amartha at local events, workshops, and networking gatherings to enhance brand visibility and build strategic partnerships.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; candidates with a bachelor’s degree (S1) are highly preferred.
- Age: 18‑35 years old (maximum 28 years preferred for this specific posting).
